Status Quo – In the Army Now
About
Fingerstyle guitar arrangement of “In the Army Now” by Status Quo – the iconic 80s classic originally written by Bolland & Bolland. Includes guitar tabs and standard notation (sheet music) in PDF and Guitar Pro formats, with left-hand fingerings added for easier learning and practice.
Difficulty: ◉◉◉◉◉ Key factors affecting the difficulty: percussion techniques (wrist kick, thumb slap, and other percussive elements), quick position changes, and extensive use of barre chords, particularly in the second half of the song.
Tuning: Standard. The guitar in the video is tuned one whole step down to Standard D (D G C F A D) to match the key of the original song.
